The Friends of Victoria Hospital Shop for has been trading for over twenty years and has just moved to 69 High Street.
Its aim is to achieve a surplus for the charity. It also functions as a base in town for our supporters, promotes our events and keeps in touch with local residents.
The shop needs good quality clothing in particular. If you have goods to donate, please ring the shop on 01202 848031 to arrange a time to come in. Standard hours are Mon – Sat, 10.00 – 4.00 but in these ‘non-standard’ times our opening hours can vary, so to be sure when we are open, please ring us on 01202 848031.
Volunteers work under the guidance of the shop managers and help to provide a wide range of quality second hand (and new) goods at modest prices.

Retail Gift Aid
All donors who are UK tax-payers are encouraged to sign up in the shop (you only have to do this once). We claim approx £3,000 each year in Gift Aid.
Card Payments
About two-thirds of payments are made by card.
