I have been a Trustee of the Friends since arriving in Wimborne in 1974 as GP/Surgeon and was Hospital Clinical Director for 25 years retiring in 2005. As current President and Trustee I have been privileged to be involved in the many development projects supported by the local community and funded funded through the Friends over this time making Wimborne Hospital one of the leading community hospitals in the UK.
