Martin Pate is a practising local solicitor who founded MJP Law in Wimborne. He has lived in Dorset for over 30 years having moved from London, where he was a government lawyer, before setting up his own firm.
Martin is passionate about Wimborne as a town to work and live having been one of the founders and former Chair of Wimborne Business Improvement District ( BID). He is also a Poole Harbour Commissioner and Honorary Solicitor to the New Forest Commoners Defence Association .
Outside work Martin likes nothing better than walking his rescue dog with his wife Wendy along the River Stour or setting off on his sailing boat to explore new destinations .
